During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 所有美妙的对话都发生在水边，尤其是夕阳的水边……
虽然故事老套。但还是温馨好看的爆米花电影，事实证明，要么脸好看（Howie），要么身材好(Noah)，你就会很耀眼。另外，有帮这样的死党真好。
？以为是《宿醉》或者是《仓皇一夜》，结果竟然是《傲慢与偏见》，同性恋玛丽苏我真是球球了！
开场觉得是很搞笑的小妞电影，但后半部分落入俗套……
整片浓浓说教劝你找个老实人，还有不必要的尖酸和骚味，把同志拍得这么刻板母拉拉也是一种旧观念了。只有渣男能看，其余演技尴尬。
大厂还是没能沉下心来去拍一部同志爱情喜剧，拍得是肤浅且老套。都2022年了，当大厂拍爱情喜剧时，尽管是同志题材，依然还是那些沿用了几十年的常规套路，且也没拍出真挚动人的感觉，只让人觉得无聊。至于《傲慢与偏见》现代同志版这个创意，想法也ok，也拍出了傲慢和偏见，却没拍出内核，傲慢与偏见的内因是什么？无从探究，只有皮相。大厂无心去琢磨同志群体真实的困境与梦幻，只是为了欢乐而欢乐，为了抒情而抒情，像是程序里设定好的，几分几秒该做什么就给你什么，缺少了故事内部的强大驱动力，自然也就打动不了人。

这确实是真实现实接地气的“同性爱情（这四个字可以随意排列组合）”故事，不管是在美国还是东亚。有时候真的觉得那些被封为经典的同性片中的同性形象只是迎合部分女观众，现实中很多同也许就是本片中的样子，有欢乐有烦恼有性有爱但愁苦相对来说少一点。
但是，好多剧情还是很尴尬

我在想如果简奥斯汀知道《傲慢与偏见》要被改编得这样肤浅会不会气的从坟墓里钻出来...
7.0/10。开篇就在援引Jane Austin，所以是现代彩虹版Pride and Prejudice没错啦，drama满满，表演有时候略微做作，但也确实会有共鸣。有些美好大概只能出现在文学和电影电视剧里，而不会在这个圈子里吧。Howie可爱。

就。。。看了一遍感觉更多是在讲友情，这里的爱情也乏善可陈。几个亚裔的演技真的很好。
看的很揪心，冒险家真是最勇敢的人之一，无畏生死，在路上。
