The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 只用惊艳到令人乍舌的视觉奇观就撑起了将近九十分钟的电影。

一代特效大师菲尔·蒂贝特的数十年心血之作。作为一部反乌托邦定格邪典动画，《疯神》做到了他能做到的一切，庞大的隐喻量，精彩至极的剪辑，蒂贝特用触及想象力极限的布景创造出罕见的混沌奇观，其中的每一个耶罗尼米斯博斯式的怪物形象都值得拿出来反复把玩，而影片最后当《2001太空漫游》中的黑色石板伴随着创世奇观涌出，整部影片堆积的全部意象瞬间被点燃，那种冲击感令人难忘。
Phil前后花了30年筹划制作，定格技术是真的棒，画面非常流畅，叙事略无趣(中间我甚至看睡着了两三次)，但不妨碍它优秀的视觉效果
苦心孤诣多年打造一场视觉盛宴，作为定格动画做到这般丝滑真不容易。故事太迷幻了！人类自身的恶永远超乎想象。
如果非要拿出一个很显而易见的故事主线，似乎有点太难。内容过于丰富神奇并且荒诞。非要夸一夸的话，只能说动画才是电影想象力的边界。
