The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 6.1/10 多首极为动感的流行乐, 大量极为鲜艳的血花, 以及数位极为个性的角色... 在当下西部题材陷入低谷的时期, 本作为保障娱乐性所进行的种种努力与创新, 可谓再一次为此类型注入了一剂强而有力的药剂。 然而如此一个拖沓冗长, 陈腐老套, 同时具备画蛇添足之反转的故事, 不仅其中缺点相较之下被加倍放大, 同时也埋葬了本作所有优良之部分为本作带来的潜力。 总而言之, 作为一部新生导演的作品, 本作确有不少可取之处, 然而剧本不加以打磨的所带来的损伤也同样清晰可见。 如若导演能及时矫正, 下部作品的完成度也许可以更佳。
