披着动画外衣的成人故事，有很多大人才知道的梗。是个合格的英雄成长故事和商业片，值得鼓励。总觉得铁扇公主长相很像谁，但又想不起来。
从《原始时代》到《狂野大陆》再到《重返地球》，题材的广泛倒是熊出没动画电影成熟的标志，但是离开狗熊岭太远后，少了那种纯粹的童真。这部还是比《狂野大陆》好些，主角完全重回三人组，大马猴与二狗终于再就业，如果最后的决战不在南极而是在狗熊岭的地下就更好了。
剧情沉重，但是演员人人在线，人性，媒体暴力，人人都是生活在这种压力下的小小虫子。

寺岛忍所饰演的人物有意思，“强行的善意”与“虚伪的公益”，让人印象深刻。
在时没有好好沟通的空白，始终需要时间弥补回来。伪善和强加于人的行为，悲剧蕴藏的深层原因。愧疚，反思，固执，偏执。内心挣扎下的行为错位。片尾的海豚云，原来父女俩曾看过相同的蓝天白云啊。字幕亮起，眼泪不由夺眶而出。

没想到电影拍得还不错，把好莱坞的那一套叙事和视效玩得很溜。
