The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 疫情以来又一年，人也变得有些麻木，看什么新闻都觉得无趣。
以纪录片的形式做的喜剧片，也就是说，是一部伪纪录片。人物采访、解说、主持人都是演员，穿插了大量的真实镜头，主题是对2021年的抱怨
还是觉得挺有意思、吐槽和讽刺方式回顾一年，这种年终总结有趣多了。休格兰特老了也还挺有风格的，毒舌又优越感十足的老头子演绎得淋漓尽致。
一脉相承。感觉2020去死才看了没几天，怎么一年就没了呢…

继承上一部death to 2020的风格，只有这种介于真真假假直接，荒诞的喜剧才能让人笑对又一操蛋的一年。
当冲突能带来利益，既得利者们开始引导甚至制造冲突。
讲得还挺狠，美国一部分深刻自省一部分对自己自信还挺分裂
