The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 两位千禧年附近的实力派影星赚足了眼球 但竟然没有一场对手戏 档期基本错开 也许这次真的没救成所以真的不能起名《记忆营救》了 翻拍片的角色和剧本应该都不会有很大的问题 但本片的篇幅恰好在角色故事线铺开但又不够讲清楚的点上 完全删掉又会陷入之前的循环 也许这种没有好看动作设计的杀手和间谍片真的要淡出历史舞台了吧

整体叙事结构与马丁·坎贝尔此前的《英伦对决》颇为相似，集团性阴谋线与“功能性角色”复仇线双线并行，可惜“冷血杀手为陌生女孩复仇”在情感张力上远没有“龙叔为亲生女儿查明真相”更让人动容；好在结尾一反“真相大白于天下”的常规套路，维持住了阴郁冷峻的类黑色电影基调：“法律总是保护那些有钱有势的人，但偶尔，我们也需要一些私刑审判维护公道。”
都太老了，安度晚年吧，不要再拍了。而且还拍得那么拖沓

一星专给三位老廉颇，故事剧本很一般，整体也比较平淡。
