During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 脑门上四颗腰果真是太disturbing了
文艺青年型片子，想看恐怖惊悚的结果看了一堆对话…
果然是个，，，，，片子
极度缺乏睡眠时逼自己去大银幕第一次看这位，结果睡了40分钟打破了个人记录（电脑上重看统计了时间）。如此直白地强调metaphor和emotion却和Titane位于两个极端，采访里自述更像note而非影像与台词里的“Better with conceptual art”的自嘲足以表明态度，不如将对形式的反对上升到纯文字的“高度”。尽管配乐、希腊外景与室内戏打光、中景特写的切换和所有手术场景的运动是为数不多的亮点且对话和全景甚至拍得像花絮，在电脑上补完后依然觉得值得为概念加半星，有种转瞬即逝的内在诗意。认可度终于成功从dream is the new sex转向surgery！
柯南伯格老师的内心是可太各色了，不好说他到底是会拍还是不会拍，这搁国内不就是坚决自我表达的小文青么
2. 电影结尾，柯南伯格反其道而行之去宣扬“body is reality”，否认了未来世界中精神的主体性和存在的意义，反倒去强调肉体本身的价值，这是一个很新颖的观点，但个人其实不太接受这样的诠释（就这样选择去接受并宣扬现代科技下人类的异化吗？）。
被强迫着按一定的速度和时长看装置展览，很痛苦
如果人真的进化到用病态的器官改造作为艺术，那么离灭亡也就不远了。
当代艺术创作现状，自嗨的，围观的，接头的，谈恋爱的，想往里加料的，翻来覆去就是那几样，挣扎来挣扎去，然后找新的蛋白棒啃，啃完泪流满面，不知道是不是对得住这么多年的勤勤恳恳。New Sex...New就New在两人可以躺床上摆拍，或者男主躺里面时调皮地吐吐舌头，亦可做个拉链防止叮当猫口袋里的东西掉出来。这种变态是空虚的，但他仍要假装继续探讨，只是Crash里的性感不再，又证明了人的老去是可以体现在作品里的。
解剖的画面就跟 你说今晚吃炒肝脏一样自然轻易，这也是这部电影的问题，解释太多，我不想知道肝脏是哪头畜生身上的，也不想知道它是怎么摆在我面前的，我只是一个餐桌前的食客，这么坐下来，然后吃。
台词真的非常“当代艺术策展文案”🌚
工作十小时之后看这个真的有点too much，还是比《钛》好很多。
没有那么好，其实就是一种对60-70年代的身体艺术，行为艺术的一种超长反射弧。未来也不未来，反而是一种复辟的未来主义。蕾老师大概是取代了Eva Green，成为英语片里必脱的法国女演员，裸戏其实没啥真的必要。
《钛》的威力加强版，重拾当年看《感官游戏》的恐惧和恶心感。柯南伯格的的确确有一套。
剧情设定挺高级，幻想未来没有生理痛苦的人类。

滑稽可笑 糟蹋艺术 身体改造早就存在了 没玩出什么新意
气氛和情绪以及神秘感倒是撑住了，故事框架相当有趣，但中间太枯燥，配合解剖身体的画面，没有血腥中的美感，也没有超越疼痛的深刻，最主要还是缺少美术风格上的大胆尝试和创新（太保守了）。对比去年的《钛》，本片上限更高，如果是《钛》那种美术风格，剧本再多加点脑洞，会好很多。
失掉的而感到遗憾，我们正在那条神奇的单单
