The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影很工整，美墨边境完全成了老爷子大片的背景板，特别是有些部分是直接能拿去当广告的程度，在这方面东木还是游刃有余，故事上就偏平淡了，每次危机来临就瞬间结束，加上年事已高，驯马镜头也用了替身，不过老爷子的状态是真的好啊！
平静舒缓的叙事节奏，流淌出淡淡人生的心灵之旅，对老东木不能再苛求什么，唯愿他身体无恙，能够拍出自己想拍的任何作品。
画内:Miko无法治愈老。
《廊桥遗梦》中的东木老爷子确确实实有其独特的男人魅力，但本片中还不断有女人倒贴就多少有些他想展现自己不服老的意味了。
2.5/5.0 剧本太古朴加上有心无力感的表演，东木面子给三星。
失望！无与伦比的烂，开头交代人物背景的对白是如此的干涩和生硬的。伊斯特伍德的脸已经老到做不了表情了，再加上所有配角演员糟糕的表演。等着提名金酸梅吧
把政治隐喻和东木情怀揉进一个公路片，编剧实在太狡猾了
九十而随心所欲，拍电影终于不再是为了拍电影。
故事比较平淡，缓慢，老爷子90多还挺硬朗，女人见了都为之着迷，他也只想搂着女人跳跳舞。
温馨公路片，但有点太平了，老头子这么大年龄了还在骑马（假的）就有点假，后面遇到酒馆老板娘一家人那里很温馨。
老爷子很起范儿，尽管动作缓慢，但一看就知道很强大，老少配的公路片就有点平庸，挺美好的，没有什么紧张气氛。Macho，是对硬汉片的反思。
老爷子的这部新片不像一部电影，更像是一位91岁的老人在为你讲述他的人生智慧。

真的要是别的导演拍的，能有三星，但是东木啊，可能是真的老了。
真的老了，但还是荒野篝火、帽檐下的深邃，这些元素没有变。前边的剧情拖沓又出戏，中后期拽回来一点，但止不住颓势。
剧本弱，片中最有男子气概的角色竟然是一只鸡！
老爷子还需要再拍一部呀,拿这部电影封山之作多少有损一世英雄.
