A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

一星给妮可，以及E大是男神没错，但这个角色是不是并不适合他？电影里怎么看也是奔四的样子，男主角选个少年感一些的会不会效果更好？算了，还是再去看一遍是狮子王吧

大概能明白为什么北美口碑和票房呈现两极的趋势 简单的故事用了一个古典的叙述方式拍出了很多古装片没有的史诗感 套用了大量宏伟的自然风光 拼贴式的魔幻特效 片子是非常的华丽 加上深藏不露的长镜头和神调度 投资不会少 过慢过深的推进又让片子呈现一种花大钱拍文艺片的感觉 评论圈会觉得这片子是艺术品 观众会觉得这么简单的故事没必要装深沉 就很遗憾
未来被谋杀，官方给出权威释义，罪行的刻印在预谋的表演中剖出，于是革命并未发生。

文艺史诗与商业类型片之间徘徊，在莎翁哈姆莱特戏剧与北欧传神与神话之间横跳，絮絮叨叨的萨满仪式，宿命预言与自我意志选择的重叠挣扎，刻意长镜头还原场景真实，历史角度过于小单元，场面寒酸又难以实现全视野的情绪浸入，荒蛮之地想还原历史真实的美术感，就感觉太局促，还不如舞台剧的写意感给人的想象空间。所以想象中的维京冷兵器的铁血酷烈几乎没有，而且过多以宿命指引人物成长，在文学性上就没什么可读性，又没法像戏剧那样大段大段优美深刻的心灵独白，人物苍白，情节突兀。两个设定略有意思，一个是阿姆雷特不再是传统印象中的翩翩公子，而变成了熊狼巨汉，另一个就是母亲这个角色从戏剧中的软弱顺从者，变成了野心勃勃主动偷情怂恿弟弟弑君且追杀自己儿子的极富主见的蛇心毒妇，大概也是影射或致敬女权者。影片很沉闷，暗调肃杀荒蛮。不喜欢
艺术电影已经抛弃“做梦”，另投“科幻”新欢了

看的第三部柯南伯格，他大概在说两个主题：一是马克·罗斯科画作的注脚——白噪和“器官”（《大都会》）；二是，所谓“normal sex”之外，用现象学那套试图绕过精神分析、权力分析来为“新”欲望营建合法性（《欲望号快车》）
只剩下摄影吸引人了，怎么办，一部部新片都是令人失望。
一种粗粝野性的历史感，交织了古老信仰，形成了迷幻诡异的效果。另一个感想：古代北欧相关是不是只能拍这种冤冤相报何时了…
各种鬼吼鬼叫，每个人都很原始野性，王子复仇记，动作戏很暴力血腥，剧情神神叨叨，磨磨唧唧，感觉像是在拍话剧
核心主题还算有点新意，并非传统意义上的复仇，而是人性层面上的释放，比如母亲诠释为因不爱、因追求自己的爱而恨，处理得非常自然，知晓真相后主角复仇动机则转变为对自己过去与价值的捍卫。可惜由于叙事规模较前作更加复杂，导演没能把精力集中在一贯擅长的人物关系演化上，却沉浸在毫无意义的心理描画式梦呓宣泄与关注点分散的叙事中，结果就有了这副拖沓无趣的四不像模样。
人类未来新的做爱方式是手术，切肤后用金属摩擦骨头可以获得高潮somehow感到很靠谱。 （这一星砸在KS身上，不明白这种演技为什么还能接到片邀）
演员里面估计也就一老一少，两个女演员（妮可·基德曼、安雅·泰勒-乔伊）还能让人印象深刻一点，毕竟所有的男演员，那个穿着，那个一脸脏，让人感觉，和野人的差距，也确实是不大的😏
在漢化組的時候翻譯了風格頗為相似的《Northlanders》全套，以至於開始以為是漫畫改的。可惜組裡後來沒人手校對和鑲字，好像就出了兩卷…一起推薦了…
一镜到底的打戏是真的惊艳：浑身肌肉、淤泥、汗、血的Skarsgård。Eggers审美一如既往的好。比约克...一如既往神棍。3.8

开头差点劝退。撇开高中话剧社排练式的表演不谈，我的脑子也十分拒绝接受这么一群人说英语，任何人一开口都尬出天际……全场最佳威廉达福，人扮狗的戏、夜遇巫婆什么还算有点艾格斯自己的调调（另外后面有个“装置艺术”不错）。整体乏善可陈，游戏感十足，剧情无聊且corny得可以忽略不计，不过夜戏的古怪色调我蛮喜欢
