剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     幸好我先看过音乐剧版，不然肯定会想这拍的什么虚伪的东西……（ben虽然外形上已经不合适了但演Evan还是很信手拈来啊）

    意外得改编得还不错，原作歌曲删减了不少，不过在剧情方面有所弥补，相较音乐剧(尤其是下半场)顺畅了很多，结尾部分尤其。再次在剧院听到You Will Be Found还是非常地感动，一下子把我带回到多年前在宽街看DEH的夏天。有这份感动加成，对于电影也多爱了几分。

    因为看过音乐剧所以对电影不抱希望，谁知道因为电影运镜问题，男主的表情纤毫毕现。他在公园木道上奔跑时的彷徨、紧张、孤单、恐慌，尝试找到一个可以hold onto的东西时，我的心一遍遍地碎了。电影增添了很多剧里没有的细节，让一些情节变得更加丰满了。可惜也删掉了几场比较好的戏，让情绪的递进有些生涩。可我竟然从头哭到尾，到最后甚至控制不住开始边哭边发抖。男主因为局促紧张而开始撒谎，因为渴望自己描绘的梦想而去圆谎。他一边沉溺于幻境，我一边心碎。里面两个妈妈的形象都比原剧丰满，并且把一个人被left out的孤独、溺毙、失声感表达得淋漓尽致。但是印度小哥和Connor的形象太扁平了。Still, it’s a relatable movie.
