The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 比起《钛》在视觉上更丰富，但整部电影从内容到结构都近似于一个当代艺术馆——我觉得极媚虚无又高傲的东西。柯南伯格是一个对待概念极其粗暴但对待影像又如匠人般精细的导演。

大脑体会到的概念，比呈现出的影像好太多，直白一些就是拍得烂，实验了但离实验很远
没劲。调成 3 倍速、黑白色，当做低成本 cult 片还行。
打开肉体的同时，思想也在被解放。疼痛，性欲，艺术，政治，最终升华到人类身体与意识的二元进化。作为科幻片，这个创意赞了，100分钟的故事还很初级，似乎只做了个设定，便戛然而止，但太多线索还亟待展开，柯南伯格要拍个限定剧，我肯定还是会追

有点空 概念也有点炒冷饭 但是还是很对味的身体恐惧！后人类依旧在玩重复的身体表演艺术 但Still shout out for Cronenberg!
高概念下竟如此保守，把人类进化的探讨拉低到要通过手术，切割去体会新性爱及快感。不得不说，格局小了。
