The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 这部电影像极了《埃及艳后》，各个零件都精美绝伦但组装到一起大概就是个华丽的废物，因为华丽多加了一颗星，跟玩《刺客信条英灵殿》的感觉如出一辙。
摄影美术啥的都还不错，就是略显老套的王子复仇记的故事配不上这个片名，格局小了，不知道的以为你拍的是克努特大帝或者是古斯塔夫二世呢
说白了，这是专门拍给影评人看的，这逼格基本上就没考虑到过观众感受（3/10）
哈姆雷特的原版故事。哈姆雷特想的多，这哥们儿是野蛮人。风景美如画。
5.0 趣味止于人物近乎抽搐的表演，艾格斯仿佛丧失了《女巫》中对于民俗人类学的探索而转投于完全符号化的神话叙事，大部分剧情就像《刺客信条英灵殿》的过场动画那样味如嚼蜡，就连最重要的anti-Hamlet的twist也无趣得紧，在《日出英烈祠》面前简直是过家家。
Eggers on not getting full control: "Frankly, I don't think I will do it again. Even if it means, like, not making a film this big ever again. And, by the way, I'd like to make a film this big. I'd like to make one even bigger. But, without control, I don't know. It's too hard on my person."
目前有的几条机翻字幕看的有点头疼。北欧风情有了，视听也够了，可惜这次导演忽视了故事，很空洞

【6.5-】你看过的哈姆雷特+你看过的A24风格+你看过的北欧神话+你看过的冰岛风光=一部处处都仿佛看过的电影
即便有北欧神话做汤底，剧作上乱炖了莎翁的Hamlet x Macbeth，布景和音乐更是魂穿3A游戏Witcher 3和God of War，还是看得索然无味，男主的许多行为让人费解，和女主的感情线更是莫名。

打斗场面堪比宗族械斗，这部可以和花木兰并称卧龙凤雏。
信仰的光，
维京古文化的考究与其元素的充沛并没有弥补叙事动能的不足。作者电影的思维与创作技巧禁锢了该题材本应有的观影情绪。想想当年吉布森的《启示》多么扣人心弦。可惜了。
搞的好像很大气，充满原始感，不过个人感觉有点长，多少会有一些无聊。
