The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 感觉有点儿戏，主角形象魄力不足，人物塑造很低廉，过于仓促。
剧本上有些俗套，还是几个校园卢瑟在组乐队过程中结识朋友、坠入爱河、与家人和解最后赢得认可（虽然比赛没拿第一）的故事。找贝斯手、大提琴女孩融入乐队等段落也比较单薄。总体上不如《摇滚校园》，毕竟那是林克莱特。但本片的青春片气息逼人！把teenager的愤怒、孤独、叛逆、渴求都表现得很到位。显然是导演功劳超过了编剧。还有半颗星是为了片中的金属乐队和歌曲加的！铁娘子、Metallica、黑色安息日、圣徒犹大、摩托头、Dio……金属四巨头全都出现了！连男主的车牌都是铁女的专辑“Powerslave”！大提琴当贝斯的设计真是太赞了。Emily的形象跟Beyond the Black乐队女主唱很像啊。

摆烂的剧情，除了一小时26分开始的演出和ending，真的很炸
故事俗套，男二基本就是照着奶哥弄得，男主毫无个人性格，女主还可以，停车场那段非常可爱，最后演出那段还可以。
1、电大提琴玩金属意想不到地别有一番风味！目测本电影播出后电大提琴销售飙升；2、男配角唱的Shade of You黄老板听了想揍人，我听了好想拉他去先修修音噗；3、奶飞这么突然做了一部金属+老鸡汤套路+美国青少年的片子，1.25倍速走起不过份；4、男主角的乐队参加比赛时原乐队名称“Skullfucker”被迫改成“Skullflower”233；5、听金属乐，从娃娃抓起（我瞎说的）。
「摇滚」的原旨精神如今已经被稀释，更多成为一种「反霸凌」的象征，亦或是真实世界中那些无用的软蛋废物们最后的精神妄想剂，难怪被老派的摇滚乐迷或者文化追求者抨击。
还不错看！长发男挺神经的，自作自受，但是确实挺适合玩重金属乐队的！歌曲挺high！

没想到大提琴也可以玩重金属！大提琴手用电子大提琴出场的时候帅炸了！片中的大提琴曲目是巴赫大提琴无伴奏组曲的 suite 1, 还是很经典的。为了“过审”，乐队名字从 skullfucker 换成 skullflower 也是很有创意了。
仿佛看见了哈利波特还有贝拉。。。哈利波特重生之校园金属狂潮
随手点开还不赖系列，演奏部分都很酷了，其余中二拧巴但傲娇。妹妹大提琴的intro真惊艳，audition片段金发帅哥进来五秒翻车有点好笑。
金属乐现在成了怪胎、loser代名词，甚至破处都成了问题，真是河东河西，最大不足是结尾演出的音乐也没什么金属精神，和他讽刺的口水歌没什么分别。
自由的代价是什么好评。有些桥段zzzq的令人恶心。成王败寇，高层早已成筛子，底层那些忠于职守者却成为历史的代价，历史的走向成了一种绝妙的反讽
其实是一个正能量的片子，最后的音乐高潮除了酣畅，有过生活经历的人反而能听出悲伤，这就是重金属，这才是重金属。
完整又有独立性，加上教室念尤利西斯那段可以打个8分吧。
