The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. TIFF解禁后的负面评价与CinemaScore的分歧不言自喻，看到Ben还特意有点小计较地发了ins说电影是给观众的，莫名想笑- -明年就是心头肉《贱 女孩》音乐剧改影了，看样子也可以准备大吵一架了【。或许评论看的是超龄扮演为电影带来的莫名“不成立”抑或是严肃议题下音乐与故事的偏差；但更多的观众却始终汲取的是这个优秀故事不随形式而改变、从未被磨灭的核心能量：不会被忽视，终会被找到。电影做到了后者，就完成了核心任务。【Anybody Have a Map？没有进行一次改编有点遗憾，毕竟是当时最喜欢的一首；还有实在爱不起某人的片尾，不如重放中段的那个版本，也在最后打破了】
很奇怪，同一个人演的埃文电影版完全没有原版那种社恐啊焦虑啊这些感觉，就可能还是演技不够拍电影

前面我都没分清楚到底是哪条时间线，题材很好，但是不够深刻，水过鸭被的感觉。他们的感情，我没看出来有这么深厚，很抱歉他们的痛苦，没能感同身受。
拍的一般，但抱着死政策做事的人 真的 也很讨厌
看了之后更想去看现场了！但情节衔接真的很不像电影，像是在歌剧里抽取了几个高光镜头和经典歌曲抽进来放。
故事题材不错，气氛烘托也不错，就是节奏太慢，而且缺少高潮的点
