The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 果然青春片还是要年轻人来演，不必撒狗血，不必编千回百转的情节，简简单单把一件事讲好就行。
几个演员辨识度不太OK（也可能是造型原因），最后给我一泳池的小伙肉体也没法弥补前面太多段尴尬桥段，看得出导演是个恋脚Gay了，但疑惑一个Gay居然没把男性身体的美好拍好…

没看过原版，单纯感觉这版还是很清爽的，虽然部分剧情仍不免俗套，但没有玛丽苏没有洒狗血更没有堕胎，新人表现也是可圈可点。印象深刻的部分除了结尾的高能时刻，还有张伟两段情绪失控的地方：“不是每个人都是你！”以及抖音“太难了”
