The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 美学风格很突出，非常诗意的另类女巫题材，其实内核还是女性主义。非常不赞同让文艺片导演远离恐怖题材的观点，毕竟题材在这里，每个导演依照个人风格和特点将其打造成属于自己的电影本身就是自由且不被约束的。
好独特的镜头，虽然血腥但是不恐怖，与其说是恐怖片更像是文艺片，推荐

年轻人阿兹海默比老人痛苦的时间更久，但是电影拍的…观影也蛮痛苦的。
痛苦中的温度
一会想讲女性主义，一会想讲爱和原谅。 什么都无法改变，无论你是男人还是女人。手刃老女巫的那刻，你只记得她剥夺了一份真情，却忘记了她也只是个受害者，她曾给了你力量和旁观世界的自由。
没想到是以巫女的视角看人类的悲喜，不断转换身份之间，竟然有点泰伦斯马力克的味道，本以为是一部氛围独特的恐怖片，没想到基本算一步文艺片了，3星半
女巫的成长，逐渐学会爱人，感受到被爱，也感受到失去。
恐怖外衣之下，女性成长启示录，这样的女巫竟然让人充满同情。

在同类型片中流于形式的中庸之作，束手束脚。女主演技仍需努力，没有什么突破可言。有情节也不够合理，总体一般。
