Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.
尽管整个剧组已经用最大的诚意来致敬原型了，但打动观众的仍然是那些高糊画质的影像资料。
一星给演员，一星给美术妆化。演员很棒！梅姐的扮演者王丹妮，哥哥的演员刘俊谦，都很惊喜，拿捏的神态和气质非常到位。片中有很多真实影像的穿插，电影和真实之前撞击出很多唏嘘和感慨。导演太差了，梅姐的性格和情感一样都没拍出来。
记住Cooper Raiff这个名字了，足够真诚细腻。
一直喜欢的梅姐鲜活地出现在银幕当中，其实是一种惊喜。小时候的登台演出，长大后那首《风的季节》是梦的开始。很喜欢这种娓娓道来的故事和命运感，也依旧感谢梅姐的歌曲、性格与为人，让我深深地感知乐观与奉献的力量。现在真的有更多的人可以记得她、了解她了，这样算不算完成了她的心愿呢

但是女主挺好的，抓到了梅姐的倔强和落寞。就是中年后很拉垮，不如后半段让袁泉来演。
拍得很是平庸，Leslie随便找个人乱演一下，又拿最惨痛一幕暴击我们。但梅艳芳已经蛮惨了，又不忍心看她比电影里更惨的人生。八了那个日本男朋友，我去，原来是百度词条“渣男”举例代表，电影也太美化了，梅艳芳死前还去见面也是真的。掌掴事件这种出几条人命的事，啥都不敢写，导致分手戏也毫无道理。无良梅妈也没出过场。这种传记片，还是等所有人都去世了再拍吧
梅姐是个很有故事性的人，可惜导演只拍出了故事没拍出故事背后的“性”，或者说本质。好巧不巧昨天正好看了《阮玲玉》，珠玉在前，这部真是相形见绌。
這是一部開場一個鏡頭，就能讓人重回香港黃金時代的電影。婚紗開始的故事，也以婚紗結尾，全程娓娓道來，讓我有一種再度回到過去的錯覺。本以為自己可以忍住，但還是受不了梅姐唱夕陽之歌告別的情景，默默落淚。感謝慈善放映讓我提前觀賞到這部影片。
先天缺失+后天乏力，内容上极为保险，拍法上更是无趣。我不明白此时此刻推出《梅艳芳》的动机是什么，创作者应该很清楚，要在现有的环境下呈现梅艳芳的完整人生，最佳的形式是纪录片。
爱人得先爱自己。很细腻的刻画了爱的克制，立意虽然不新，但台词、节奏、演员都不错，22岁的男主眼睛亮亮的。干净明亮充满善意的人，希望长大后也能继续拥有纯粹的灵魂，时间在走，但记忆都会在的

为什么不是关锦鹏来拍……这个导演拍得太新太商业了，而且哥哥的演员是什么鬼！为什么会那么猥琐！一点都没有哥哥的忧郁和温润如玉的气质，不说他是张国荣我真看不出来。。
Quite rich on the emotional level
近在眼前的人拍到这样大致皆可，人人都伟光正，只想问为什么找了一个软饭男形象扮gorgor?这个形象哪里担得起Leslie这个名字。2003时间轴一到自动爆哭模式。
好典白好中产 can't relate “我大学毕业就失业，和女友异地被甩，出于自尊受挫和其他女的睡了，还爱上了一个有自闭症女儿的少妇，但我依然吃穿住不愁，乐乐呵呵。”五十度飞那女的演技一点没进步，有点像杨幂…
即便我边看边哭 但你们扪心自问这一部对得起梅姐吗
到后面真的好怕来个车祸俗套收尾，还好大家都很理智move on
