剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     One of the first wave (pun intended) of COVID-inspired drama. It highlights something well-known but starts from a small life-like scenario. The critical commentaries (esp. at the end) aren't always subtle, but they do show different philosophies and approaches to carework.     本片明艳的黑白摄影，显得凝重，很符合洪几乎定格的场景互动风格，很显然在这里，洪的推镜更慢了，情节的衔接更舒服，但也没失去洪独特的文本性。

    导演从一开始就目的明确，以小见大。前面一切看似感人、柔软的剧情铺垫，甚至最后女主和托尼稍显尴尬的强行“私奔”，都是为了能在结尾借女主之口，对英国政府展开直接有力的控诉。当个体面对失序，绝望之下还能有所行动，往往意味着要“破坏”某些陈腐的规则，女主的操作略显冲动，却令人佩服。本片确实是现如今疫情下极具批判反思精神的现实主义佳作。

    一种异质感从头到尾作为一个模糊小说家立场的存在贯穿在电影中，背景的过曝，窗外第三人的凝视。小说家的焦点落在对演员的审视上，借由导演镜头的不断拉近，演员从画面的右边出现又快速消失在左边。直到小说家最后将视角交还给金敏喜，并退出了这个构建的审视，整个影像才展现出异常完满的和谐。啊，内心被情绪填满的感觉真是让人幸福。
