The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 虽然很多人不太喜欢艾伦·索金，可我就是看他写的东西觉得爽啊。而且这次的案件，仿佛就是一个纪录片一般。场景穿插也比较好理解了，庭上辩护也是精彩的。但是看多了律政类案件的我就想问，不能换法官？这么biased法官，不能提审换一个么，可烦死我了。
有些国人看本片可能会看high，倒不是因为所谓的理想主义，而是终于为自己身边发生的事情找到了合理性：老美不也没有民主，天下乌鸦一般黑！问题是，在政治面前，民主都是笑话，但这也是有程度之分的。反正我看着人家的混乱，再看看自己井然有序的生活，略感汗颜。

片子强调思想理念重于描绘事件，居然还很扣人心弦。Sorkin拍这种题材已经成精了。
剧本和剪辑确实漂亮。通过庭审过程中的不断闪回，逐步勾勒了和平抗议如何变成了暴力冲突，没有浪费笔墨在还原冲突本身上。

理想和灯塔常有，但成为灯塔的理想不常有。民主和理性常有，但理性的民主不常有。体制和进步常有，但体制的进步不常有。
剧本的设置也极为精彩。
可以感觉到挺好的，但是作为外语片这么大的信息量还是接受困难，只能明白个大概故事。不明觉厉吧
自由和权利之间的抗争是个永远不会结束的死循环。

导演的场景调度能力好强！前面半个小时，我一直在想为什么要看这个？后面越来越投入！节奏快，思路清晰！
