The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 既魔改但却又相当忠实高文爵士传说精神的一次改编。看到2/3的时候还以为要崩坏，没想到最后居然出乎意料的圆回来了。整体的Production以及Daniel Hart的配乐都相当出彩，不过还是需要配上字幕二刷再作评价
观影过程中我内心戏好多，以下为节选：

文学性很强，缺乏相关历史/宗教知识看得吃力。暴力突然，情绪太多了，编排好像没有编排。
是我的菜，以前只看过关于绿衣骑士传说和《麦克白》对比的论文，这片好多很莎剧的场景
抛开鬼怪的配乐与华美的镜头，这就是一个懦弱之人最终成为骑士，取得自己荣誉的故事。
Like everyone said, top-notch on cinematography, sound design and art department, but no story, only vibes. Good for eye, not for brain. The last 20 mins makes the most sense of the movie, like an ending explanation in the ending. The overall tone of the film, or from adult fairy tale aspect, it reminds me of Tale of Tales.
有点新版《麦克白》的feel，各种装神弄鬼的逼范也算是把你哥糊弄住了。此片只宜正常速度看。
经过上半部的折磨，下半部果断调成倍速，居然还是觉得节奏慢，典型的装x片

长篇叙事诗。导演野心很大，敢用亚瑟王圆桌骑士的故事玩meditation，听说借鉴了塔可夫斯基的《安德烈•卢布廖夫》，学习尚未成功，还有继续努力的空间，还可以再大胆一点。
虽然前后有点割裂，但还是好看的，真实画面插入，停在海面从黑白切到彩色。前面黑白的尤其有意思，意大利人那种幽默感，“棺材里一定是侏儒”。钉子的短篇很有文学性。看完来看导演简介更被打动，以死亡拍死亡

还你泥马了戈壁的骑士精神呢，这不是中世纪了，沙雕文艺青年还搁这自嗨呢。。要说故事新编，看看咱们鲁迅的
越来越故弄玄虚，越来越不会说人话。恐怖和寓言都只停留在了华丽阴鸷的皮囊。

致学龄前儿童的童话故事集节选，童话小镇的居民们因勇敢的女孩和她的好伙伴生活变得更美好，唯一的问题这个红色的三米巨犬确实不够可爱
7分。预告片做得真好，期待了大半年。一个普通人终于成为骑士的故事。也不是说正片差，但并没有满足期待。显著的A24风格，画面色彩以及光影都很棒，服装也漂亮，选择的插曲不错。前面圆桌的对称镜头和小标题的字体有点韦斯·安德森的感觉。剧情稍弱，还好有最后的反转给观众一点点欣喜。故事里有许多神秘的桥段，有的让人不太理解导演用意，但却莫名有些吸引人。整体还是比较喜欢的，想给8分，不过想想不如《鬼魅浮生》那般诱人，就只能给7分了。
