Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.
到最后还是没去电影院，在电视上看完的。前三部讲啥已经忘的差不多了，这部也是看的稀里糊涂。

大型已婚妇女劝出轨现场，拍的不说狗尾续貂也相当吊诡了，情感上用老角色的回忆杀企图唤醒观众，但真的不够意思，其实看只有拉娜一个人导拍也大概知道电影的性质了，可能真如电影开篇官方吐槽一样，华纳逼着要出续集的没办法而已，不要当第四部看，当个番外乐乐就行了。大型墨镜展销会，最后大规模自杀性跳楼没忍住有点喜剧效果，飞翔的崔妮蒂和无敌尼奥以及打戏也让人忍俊不禁。三部曲已经很完整了，实在是没必要，也算圆了下男女主的爱情梦罢了，这也是黑客帝国的精髓之一，爱唯能拯救一切。
不知道是我太包容还是网友太苛刻，我觉得不论从哪个角度看都不是一部烂片，甚至算得上是好片，跟2、3的水准不相上下，如今评分绝对过低了。当然也不是不能理解，毕竟1是里程碑式神作，大家对将要开启新三部曲的4肯定也抱有同等的期待，希望又是一部开天辟地之作，然而在山顶上再长出一座山峰谈何容易，如果以神作标准来比，4肯定难负其重。最大问题还是哲学层面没有突破，依然停留在十几年前，原地踏步的世界观肯定无法取悦如今见多识广的观众。不过4已经初步构架了一个人与机器共存的雏形，后续还会如何展开，会不会有所突破，还是值得期待的。
依然有一些还算不错的场景设计和特效画面，但并没有出现特别新鲜的内容。只有一场戏，一群人从高楼上跳下往地上摔的场景看起来还挺酷的。
太難看了，堅持了一個小時實在扛不住出來了，整部影片無時無刻都在提醒觀衆：朋友，我們之前的三部曲很優秀。
是很失望，像把123部合一起重拍一遍，但主角都老态龙钟了还要再从头升级。说实话，对沃卓斯基兄弟姐妹的审美一直不恭维。过去20年，新4已没有了任何思想高度，只有碎碎念与对华纳深深的吐槽。想搞砸《黑客帝国》很容易，想拍好真太难了
拉娜·沃卓斯基放飞自我一般的对前作进行了自嘲，似乎想借此从前作的血统中割离开来，但是这种想法并被坚决地执行下去，一方面不断地利用既有的素材引导观众共鸣，另一方面又想要推翻“黑客帝国”三部曲祭奠的风格，结果就导致整部电影在严肃与娱乐之间左右摇摆，飘忽不定。这样的续作，立项之初就应被扼杀在摇篮里。
将近两个小时的文戏，一波又一波的卖弄情怀，到底是动作片还是纪录片？感觉就是导演的个人感想和Keanu对人生的感慨纪录片，不看也罢
虽然降低了期待但还是失望，史密斯这个角色没有立住，不仅是演员，给他的台词就太肤浅了。
自我致敬，自我陶醉，自我意淫，究竟是多自恋才能拍出这片儿？！主要配角都换了大半，还要打肿脸充胖子说我就是原版。
一星给官方吐槽；一星给不老NEO。PS.记得随手关门最重要
本年度最佳爽剧，导演太幽默了，前半部分拿老板华纳兄弟公司开涮，于是理所应当地开启了后半部分来满足观众的需求（老板们认为的主流观众需求）。看完我跟发财说，黑客帝国系列其实就是有被迫害妄想症患者内心世界的绝佳展现，所以片中的精神医生被攻击，正如我们老师们说到与Psychose工作的时候要承受很多攻击。但是相比神经症（痛苦来在于外界世界与自我的冲突）来说，精神病病人才是改变世界规则的人，虽然可能后果有好有坏。
真真像是致敬前三步曲拍摄的外传作品，甚至包括官方我吐槽我我自己拍摄第四部本身行为，这很酷。但是剧情“跑偏了”？爱不仅可以穿越虚拟现实，还能穿越一切吧。
甚至连当初在影迷圈里时髦无比、充满炫智意味的“堆砌辞藻/套用各种概念的分析解读内涵”之风也惨遭官方戏谑。尽管影评人口碑其实还行（持平2吊打3），但很难不得罪按三部曲画风去期待的粉丝。
其实还是情怀满满啦，只不过从科幻片变成爱情片也是没想到，强行给三部曲的遗憾来了一个“圆月情节”。超前的理念使得三部曲在20年前是神作，Matrix至今依然无处不在，但第四部的确nothing new，情怀（又称“捞钱”）之作啦！老粉看得很开心，不要拍第五部了！
至于那些粪里挑火龙果籽的优点，诸如策划会上、分析师口中及彩蛋里对现时世界的反省，全都蜻蜓点水。尤其是人与机器共处这个“进步”，既已碰到了前作背景的核心，却没有任何展开，与其说深化，不如说是摆烂。
并没有毁掉原三部曲创造的世界，但也没什么新鲜东西。小乔和barney叔叔太让人出戏了！
就算穿插原作还是记不得剧情 大部分电影对于我来说就是这样子…电视剧的话我肯定记得 = =…浑浑噩噩地看完了 下一个……不过很开心的是看到了很多超感的演员 BJS我老公
