In New York, the rookie newsman Christopher "Chris" Tyler dreams on becoming a famous journalist. When his girlfriend Cicely spends a couple of days with him, they decide to get married and Cicely leaves college. Chris's best friend Tommy Abbott is his best man and becomes a family's friend. Chris has his great chance when his editor Frank Carteret sends him to Rome assigned as a foreign correspondent. Cicely stays in New York with Tommy and does not tell to Chris that she is pregnant. When she delivers the baby Kit, Chris celebrates and loses a big scoop and his boss fires him. Chris falls in disgrace and the couple has economic difficulties; however Tommy lends money to Cicely and offers an opportunity on the stage as an actress. Cicely is hired and becomes successful and Chris is depressed with the situation. Cicely seeks out Frank Carteret and explains the situation, and he offers a job opportunity to Chris in Russia. He accepts the job but Cicely stays in New York with their son....
整个尬住，这是什么傻逼剧情，男主刚杀完女主他哥她就跟男主搞上了？？？我不理解…男主演技好差，这俩的爱情来得也好莫明奇妙，男主看起来一点感情都没有…
连字幕都不加了，却还要他得到集体的认同？故事太老了。
最大不足是动机，原以为这次名导的翻拍会把剧情改的稍微再合理一点，可惜只改了更加政治正确的部分，但对于人物动机的合理性却没有。失望。最大亮点是美版billy的小大卫长大了，荷尔蒙爆棚。
如果不是刚立项就知道是斯皮尔伯格的作品，我会以为是迪士尼新推出的少数族裔公主片。跟糟糕的男主比，女主的表现力都能算说得过去了。ps 我不该在跑步机上看这部电影，男主一开嗓，差点给我跑岔气。跑完后破天荒的小腿抽筋，可能是被气的。

豆瓣分这么低啊，不至于吧🙈欧阳万成演圣诞浪漫喜剧没啥不合适的——难道大家更愿意看演他哥哥的那位帅哥演绎josh的那些细腻情绪么 lol 我是没胃口。结尾致敬love, actually自然不尬，好评~

3.5 enjoy it better with this new one, with better choreograph, cinematograph and maybe the cast except the leading actor. BUT BUT this is still the same story which I could not agree with on many aspects. where's the original story / idea.. and when to stop endless sequels and reboots..
丰富的场景，精致的转场，但影片的具象化太消解舞台调度的那种铿锵力度了，Rita不亏是老将，全片最佳是somewhere。

没看过原版也很少看歌舞片，但似乎《西区故事》面临的是与《沙丘》同样的问题甚至更为严重，大环境变了，尽管导演极尽所能将一切硬件做到最好，然而这套陈旧的故事却落后于时代太久，作为观众始终难以带入情感，后半程被猪队友气得想捶墙。
特别精致，调度工作做的很足，但缺乏一股创新感，光线风格讲究戏剧感，缺乏真实性
鬼娃Chucky热舞有点厉害，爷爷蜡烛有点感人，《Baby It's Cold Outside》改成《Maybe Just Go Outside》有点好听，Yippee-ki-yay, motherf$cker！ asian hate crime 之后的政治正确电影，感觉在某种层面政治很不正确，但确实开心；McG 制片娱乐性有保证
更喜欢汉密尔顿，换一个能hold 住的女演员会不辱没这么经典的音乐剧，
说实话，这是我看过最好的圣诞爱情电影，又幽默又温馨, 还发人深省。的确“社焦”网络害死人，做真实的自己才最重要。Love Christmas 💗🎄
看了1/3不到就已经城堡抠好了。这年头怎么还有这么无脑尬的言情片？而且no offense，jimmy o yang演言情我真的不可。
Director Spielberg怎么会选一个有肢体障碍的傻大个扮演男一？他一人的拙劣几乎毁掉了整部电影，好在有完美的Ariana Debose扳回一城。
怎么说呢 女主有brain damage 而男主是恋爱脑。This story doesn't age well at all.
